“Tempting as it may be”
I put a lot of love and thought into this piece. This is an ode to Greek Mythology’s “Siren”. A reminder that temptations, although alluring, should be approached with skepticism.
The entire piece was designed and built around a really cool bi-color tourmaline my buddy @the_mineraldeposit brought me back from Tuscon this year. It is like looking into an algae filled ocean. I couldnt escape the aquatic vibes so the theme was born.
In the bail is a fancy cut indicolite with bright cuts to accent.
24k Gold and Silver waves splash below.
The pave’ section consists of blue diamonds, sapphires and tanzanite.
On the reverse, a Siren looks over a sinking ship that she has baited. Tucked in the cut is an eye wide open to remind the wearer to be conscious of hidden dangers.
